Here share my real experience with ID-46 Nissan key programming via SKP-900, which may be helpful when you feel difficult or confused to finish smoothly.

1. Make direct connection between Nissan OBD II connector and SKP-900 Key Programmer via main cable. And then start the car with remote and wait a few seconds for SKP-900 to start.

2. Select NISSAN, and then choose NEW STRUCTURE and click Yes to proceed.


3. Select KEY 1 and click Yes.


4. Click IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM and Yes to continue.


5. Wait for a few minutes until it connects with the car.


6. Select FUNCTION SELECTION, and click KEY ADAPT, subsequently click Yes to continue.


7. Click YES.


8. You need to insert key and turn IGN on according to the screen instruction. You will find the IMMO indicator light flashed when you insert a key (NOTE: keep in mind not to start engine). Finally click Yes.


9. Close IGN switch and click YES.


10. Open IGN switch after system adapting and select YES.


11. Wait for a few minutes until the key is programmed successfully.


So far, the whole process to ID-46 Nissan key programming is well done.

What the different of these two ECU programmer and how can they work together?
KESS V2 and K-TAG share the same K-suite software which is developed by Alientech. KESS V2 OBD master kit can be worked together with some other programmers, the most welcomed is K-TAG.
KESS V2 and K-TAG share some differences. KESS V2 supports OBD which means it can work via OBD diagnostic port but K-TAG cannot. KESS V2 supports some EDC17 programming, but K-TAG cannot. In short, KESS V2 is for OBD and K-TAG is for BDM/JTAG/BOOT.

Last week a customer who bought a Super MB Star C3 from OBD365 told me that his device used to work fine, but it prompted an error: Internal error: File XWSAPI.EXE not found; application launch is aborted when he started the program one day, as shown below:
Then I chatted with OBD365 technicians about this issue. One of our technicians said the issue was caused because the user just jumped directly to WIS from other function or other ways to check the wiring diagram instead of opening it up from the desktop.
